Cheese!) \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut during the dog days of summer, Hot Honey is the ingredient M.V.P. in a homemade grilled peach bruschetta.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen I worked as a \u003cem\u003etournant\u003c\/em\u003e in an Italian restaurant, we would make this dish (with regular honey) whenever we were overloaded with sweet, ripe peaches. But this hot honey is a definite upgrade. It adds a nice kick of flavor!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy recipe is super easy: Toasted baguette, creamy burrata, grilled ripe peaches, hot honey and finishing salt. Spread on one side of each slice. \u003cbr\u003e4. Arrange slices evenly on a baking sheet spread-side up and broil 5 minutes. \u003cbr\u003e5. Halve peach and remove pit. Halve each side and brush exposed fruit flesh with oil. \u003cbr\u003e6. On a hot grill, cook each side of the fruit for 2 minutes. Brush the skin with oil and return to grill another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. \u003cbr\u003e7. Spread dollop of burrata on the surface of each slice of bread. \u003cbr\u003e8. Thinly slice the peach quarters and use slices to evenly cover as much of the bruschetta slices as possible. \u003cbr\u003e9. But spicier!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne day, I was craving pasta salad but didn’t have much time. I couldn’t get to the store to buy veggies and spices, and I needed an easy option that still packed flavor. Elvio’s Chimichurri, to the rescue!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s full of chopped parsley, heavy on the garlic and, of course, there’s the olive oil factor that makes everything cling to pasta really well. Every noodle bite is saucy! And while typically, chimichurri isn’t super spicy, this one has a little kick. It also gives any pasta salad an impressive presentation – it’s so green! But most of all, I just love the rich taste.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo what’s my secret recipe for an Elvio’s Chimichurri pasta salad? I combine one jar with a pound of pasta, a handful of chopped fresh basil, and one large tomato (chopped in small chunks!) for a pasta salad with some heat. The last time I made it for my friends, they loved it and assumed that I spent all afternoon chopping parsley and peppers.
