Spicy Chili: Putting The Hot In Hot Chocolate

Funky cocoas… you can’t have just one! That’s why we’re continuing our indie hot chocolate series this #TreatThursday with a brimming cup you’ve definitely never tried before.

Jcoco’s orange bar was inspired by a delicacy enjoyed in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula: fresh-sliced, juicy orange, just barely kickin’ with a dusting of red chili powder. Sweet, tangy citrus and spicy pepper are folded into white chocolate, the perfect creamy canvas for vibrant flavors.

We knew it would definitely heat things up when melted into a mug.

This is some HOT chocolate.

    Orange White Chocolate Chili Cocoa

1 Orange White Chocolate Chili Bar
    2/3 cup milk

    Directions
    1. Break chocolate bar into pieces.
    2. Place chocolate pieces in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
    3. Add milk and whisk constantly until chocolate is melted and well-blended, about 5 minutes.
    4. Remove from heat. Serve in a mug.

Don’t be chilly, be chili. Que caliente!
