Hip hip hooray! We're so excited because 19 of our Mouth-watering indie makers have been chosen as winners in the 2017 Good Food Awards, the indie Oscars of the snack world!
The Good Food Awards first started in 2011 to recognize food businesses for their environmental and social responsibility as well as their taste. All entries must be made with real (preferably local) ingredients and nothing artificial or genetically modified. The judges think that “truly good food—the kind that brings people together and builds strong, healthy communities—contains all of these ingredients.”
These 19 makers were chosen from 2,059 entrants (wow!) and are now being recognized as leaders in creating delicious and sustainable local food economies. Now that's food we can really feel good about eating. The Good Food Awards have pretty good taste.
