On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… eight maids a-milking eight maids goat milking.
Okay, don’t actually send the maids, but do send their delicious labor of love: award-winning goat milk chai caramels.
Louisa, the resident milking maid of Big Picture Farm, is a visual artist who fell in love with life on the farm. She and her poet husband certainly managed to transfer their artistic skills to the culinary world, creating caramels that look as good as they taste. We don't know what we love more – eating the caramels, admiring the gorgeous boxes featuring Louisa’s artwork or stalking the super-adorable goats online.
The treats themselves are like our favorite coffee order, in caramel form. Organic vanilla extract and an organic chai blend add wonderful aromas and instant spiced flavor to the creamy goat's milk. A sprinkle of cinnamon, dash of ginger, touch of black pepper and smattering of clove? Warm, toasty and melt-worthy (just like your true love).
They’re so good you’ll want to chai ‘em yourself.
