Rob Seufert of York, PA was inspired to start pickling in the simplest way– he tasted some amazing pickles and started making frequent trips to an out-of-the-way spot to buy them. Then he caught the DIY pickling bug and now pickles all kinds of vegetables, from asparagus to carrots to cucumbers, often incorporating heat from his home-grown chile peppers. If you want to know how seriously he takes his pickles, just look at his car. His license plate reads EPICPIKL.
